Expert Panel Meetings

In 2005, the National GAINS Center convened a series of expert panel meetings which examined the application of specific evidence-based practices (EBPs) and programs which serve justice-involved people with mental illness. Expert panel meetings were convened on the following EBPs:

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
Trauma
Housing
Supported Employment
Illness Self-Management and Recovery
Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders

The product of the 2005 series of Expert Panel Meetings, issue briefs on the practical application of the six EBPs for justice-involved people with mental illness, are now available for download here.
