Why?

Identifying "what works" and applying the evidence-based knowledge to program development is critically important to the field to assure the use of best practices in mental health service provision.

The GAINS Center did examine the transferability and replication of evidence-based practices to criminal justice settings, modifications for successful application to criminal justice settings and clients, and the need to balance consumer perspectives with a prescribed modality.
