How Forensic Peer Specialists Can Help Your Program

Join the National GAINS Center’s free Easy Access Net/Teleconference on Thursday, September 20th from 2:00-3:30 PM (Eastern Daylight Time) for an informative look at “How Forensic Peer Specialists Can Help your Program.”

Building on our June 1, 2007 expert panel workgroup meeting, this Net/Teleconference with LaVerne Miller, Director of the Howie T. Harp Peer Advocacy Center, and David Fuller, Director of Supportive Housing at Community Access will provide:

• A clear definition of Forensic Peer Specialists
• How to include Forensic Peer Specialists in Workforce Development
• Concrete strategies to train and support Forensic Peer Specialists
• First hand experiences in overcoming key barriers to integrating Forensic Peer Specialists into various programs

Following the presentation there will be an opportunity for audience questions.
