SAMHSA’s GAINS Center for Behavioral Health and Justice Transformation is committed to the dissemination of information about effective mental health and substance abuse services for people with co-occurring disorders in contact with the justice system, as well as the distribution of information that will assist communities with engaging in systems change efforts.
Consistent with this commitment, SAMHSA’s GAINS Center is making a variety of topical resources available for free download on this website. These resources, which include fact sheets, policy briefs, program briefs, model policies, model protocols, and training and workshop summaries, are designed to share the research, findings, and expertise of SAMHSA’s GAINS Center with federal, state, local, tribal, and community organizations and individuals.
The available resources are listed by topic on the left navigation panel of this page. After selecting the topic of interest using the hyperlinks on the left, you will be brought to a page that lists relevant resources and publications. These topical resources are free for download, and the Center urges the sharing and distribution of this information with relevant and interested parties. Publications are Adobe PDF documents and will open in a new window. Download the free Adobe PDF Reader here.
Please note: hard copies and bulk copies of these resources are not available at this time.
